Ways to Serve Within Our Church

Your service makes a difference in the life of the church, and the lives God touches through Wesley Church. Thank you for making a difference. For each area, the coordinator will give you more details to prepare you to serve.

Acolyte: If you would like to bear the light of Christ in worship, please contact the church office.

Altar Guild: To prepare the sanctuary for worship, we have a schedule of 12 months with one family/ 2 persons serving each month. To learn about this ministry, contact Nancy Vaughan via email.

Bell Choir: The Bell Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 and new ringers are always welcomed. The Bell Choir plays in worship the second Sunday of each month (excluding summer). Please contact Sherry Roscoe

Choir: The Choir sings on Thursday evenings from 7-8:30 to prepare for the Sunday morning 9:45 worship service.  New voices are always welcomed.

Clothing Closet: The clothing closet has been blessing our community for over thirty years. People who are referred in on Mondays and Fridays receive free clothing. On Saturday mornings the closet is open for public business. All proceeds go to local ministries to feed and house people in need. Servants are needed on Saturday mornings. Please contact Mary Ann Dashiell, or Fred Ragains

Communion Servers: To learn how to serve the holy meal, and participate in worship in this way, contact Bill Torbert. We serve communion the first Sunday of the month and every week during Advent and Lent; at the 11:15 service we will serve weekly beginning in the fall.
